Video Processing Card

Embedded Media was approched for assistance on developing a custom camera system for the marine market.  The system was required to accept two camera inputs and display the images for the operator.  The system required the use of image processing techniques such as Picture-in-Picture display, data over (such as time/depth/tempearture/GPS cordnates) and colour correction for underwater images.

The final solution was built using a Zynq FPGA SoC, this allowed the camera interfacing and image processing in a single device. 

 

The final solution met the customers requirements and also had the ability to interface to different camera inputs it was ever required in the future.
